Dayenu Circle

Sunday, January 26, 2025 26 Tevet 5785

1:00 PM - 2:00 PMSimon Rosenblatt Board Room & Zoom
Kol Ami is excited to explore the idea of forming a Dayenu Circle! This would be a community-driven effort to act on the Jewish values of caring for our planet and preserving it for future generations.

Inspired by Dayenu, a national Jewish organization dedicated to environmental sustainability and climate action, this is an amazing opportunity for young and old to come together and make a real impact on the environment. This would involve activities such as:

  • Recycling Efforts to make Kol Ami events and activities more sustainable
  • Educational Programs for our Religious School and congregants
  • Holiday Programs like Tu B'Shvat and Earth Day
This is only the beginning of the impactful possibilities; we want to hear your ideas, too! The introductory meeting on Sunday, Jan 26th at 1 pm will be available to attend in-person at Kol Ami and via Zoom. This is our chance to share thoughts, connect with one another, and dream up how we can take meaningful steps toward protecting our world, all while staying rooted in Jewish tradition.

Dayenu gives Jewish communities the tools and inspiration to work together to address climate change, guided by the principle of tikkun olam, our sacred responsibility to repair the world. We hope you’ll join us!
