Join the Prime Timers for a docent-led visit to the University of Arizona Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum, located inside the beautifully restored Historic Pima County Courthouse in downtown Tucson.
Explore 12,000 square feet of dazzling exhibits featuring more than 3,000 specimens from around the world—including stunning gems, minerals, fossils, and meteorites—with a special emphasis on treasures from Arizona and Mexico. Learn about the evolution of minerals, the art of gem cutting, and the stories behind some of nature’s most breathtaking creations.
The price of admission includes a parking validation at the nearby El Presidio Garage.
After the tour, those who wish can enjoy lunch together at a nearby downtown café (details to come).
