If you are walking through Kol Ami on a February weekday morning, you might have smelled the aroma of our freshly baked hamantaschen. Delicious! Don’t forget to order a few dozen. The deadline to preorder has passed but you can still buy them on Sunday morning, March 5th, 9:30am-12pm, while the Religious School is in session. If you preordered, pick up is also on March 5th.
MoKA started out the year by welcoming Rabbi Malcolm Cohen and family to Tucson and Kol Ami by sponsoring a breakfast in their honor. It was a sold-out affair and everyone had a great time. MoKA continued the tradition, begun at both legacy congregations, of having a monthly men’s night out, at one of Tucson’s fine restaurants (bars). We added a monthly discussion group – topic and location vary.
MoKA plans on going to one or two sporting events in the spring, holding a members’ breakfast, and beginning to plan what for the fall. MoKA is an active group always seeking new members. Come join us and share in the fun.
