Join the Kol Ami community at the Youngerman Family Ranch to celebrate one of the most interesting holidays of the year, Lag B'Omer. Even though the Omer period is one of mourning, this one day is one of celebration, when a plague which had befallen Torah students abated and when we celebrate the mysterious, mystical Rabbi Simeon bar Yochai. Just like in Israel, our congregation will have an outdoor celebration at a member family's ranch with hayrides and stargazing, havdalah, a hot dog cookout, and a bonfire with s'mores!
Don't forget to bring something to sit on (blanket, folding chair). You are also invited to bring frisbees, footballs, and telescopes if you'd like to share with others.
BBQ Dinner
Kosher hot dogs, chips, watermelon, and s'mores. If you are requesting a vegetarian option, please inidicate that on your registration below.
